The Humble Pig
The Humble Pig is an award winning husband and wife owned and operated, food truck and catering business. We moved to Cary, NC in the summer of 2007, and for the last 6 years we have fallen in love with The Triangle and all it has to offer us and our two daughters.
We work closely with local farmers to bring you the best local pork, chicken & on occasion – beef, in the state. We prefer sustainable farming and work with organic farms a often as we can.
We don’t just serve meat at The Humble Pig. We also visit the farmer’s markets weekly for the best local produce for our southern homemade sides & desserts.
Low & Slow is how we roll. Natural fruit woods add a pleasant smokiness, that gives our Bar-B-Que it’s signature taste. Everything we serve is properly prepped, pulled and/or sliced and sauce is always on the side! On the side you say, yes…on the side. We are confident our pulled pork and sliced beef is so good you don’t need sauce. No worries though , fortunately we love sauce! From Eastern NC’ s Vinegar Based to Western NC’s light tomato based, South Carolina’s mustard based (you have to try this on the brisket!, just ask for it at the truck window), Tennessee and Georgia’s sweet & spicy, and Alabama’s famous White Sauce , we have whatever your palette desires. Althey are all homemade & gluten free!
