Sandra Warren

Sandra Warren is a multi-genre writer for children and adults, who lives and writes in the shadow of the South Mountains. Current projects include a screenplay and novel involving the Orphan Trains, a middle-grade novel based on a high schools’ WWII experience and a picture book with a subtle holiday theme.

Her unique open-ended story books, If I Were A RoadIf I Were A TableThe Great Bridge Lowering and Arlie the Alligator have been used in classrooms for over thirty years. Adult biographies, When Duty Called: Even Grandma Had to Go and Hidden Casualties: Battles on the Home Front profile the experiences of two Persian Gulf War nurses.
